Norfolk Virginia Wedding: Happy + Alan

A few weekends ago, Ben and I had the pleasure of photographing Happy and Alan’s breathtaking wedding. The early October day was warm and full of sunshine, nothing short of what they deserved. Having known Happy since college, I was so thrilled that her day went exactly how she wanted…perfect. I couldn’t be more honored to have been there to capture their wedding and I wish them only the best that life has to offer. Alan and Happy, congratulations and I hope you’re having a great honeymoon in Asia.

Much love,

We met the bride and groom at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they got ready for their big day.

After everyone made their way to the church, we had a few extra minutes before the ceremony so I grabbed Happy and took a few shots of her on the balcony overlooking their guests.

So peaceful and calm…

And then it was time…

The ceremony was heartfelt and full of praise for the joining of two beautiful lives.

After the ceremony, we headed to the water for some bridal pictures.

The reception was held at the Townpoint Club in Norfolk.

Everyone gathered onto the balcony to release a handful of wish lanterns. It was beautiful…

A beautiful end to the night…

Smithfield, Virginia Senior Pictures: Hannah

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot a stunning high school senior’s pictures. Miss Hannah is absolutely adorable and photographs flawlessly! We met in beautiful Smithfield, Virginia. The day was unusually hot for October, but it made for some gorgeous pictures.

Having spent only a few hours with her, I know this girl is going to go far in life – she has a sweet personality and a good head on her shoulders. I wish her only phenomenal college experiences that help form and shape her into the woman she is meant to be. Good luck with your admissions, Hannah! Thank you, for a wonderful afternoon!

Happy Wednesday!
