Essex Fells, New Jersey Wedding: Samantha + Stephen

On March 1, Ben and I had the absolute honor of spending the day photographing Samantha and Steve’s wedding. A couple truly and honestly loved by everyone in their community, just having the opportunity to meet them was a blessing, let alone photograph their special day.

Samantha and Steve both grew up in the same church. Their families were even well acquainted with each other. But, it wasn’t until four years ago that Sam and Steve actually met each other. And the rest, they say, is history. Hearing the wonderful speeches given by their family at the reception was a true testament to the love, strength, and devotion these two have for each other and most importantly, the Lord.

My biggest congratulations go out to these two and their new journey together. I pray the Lord will bless them tremendously in their life as one.

Much love,

The day was was sprinkled with vintage and elegance in all the little details. I loved it!

Samantha is such a beauty…

Surrounded by her mother and eight bridesmaids, she was sure to look her best.

A classic Packard was waiting for the bride to take her to the church…

Ben was with Steve and the fellas. After a trip to Chipotle and a few ping pong games, the guys were ready to get dressed.

Calvary Church in Essex Fells has a great family history. Samantha’s parents and grandparents were both married here. A place that is close to the heart.

I love this shot taken as Samantha and her father make their way through the quiet church halls to the sanctuary.

It was a beautiful ceremony…

Everyone was a trooper when we did some shots outside in the freeeeeezing cold. You could never tell it was so chilly because everyone looks so good!

The stunning, elegant bride….

Love this candid shot…

The reception was held inside of an old jazz hall.

Sam and Steve started the night off with a beautiful first dance…

The night was filled with beautiful toasts, dancing and delicious dinner. I don’t think they could have asked for a more perfect night.

And my favorite shot from the night because I think it simply states how Sam and Steve are with one another. And any married couple will tell you, “Always keep each other laughing…its key to a happy marriage.”

Congratulations, Sam and Steve!
