A few weekends ago, I had the honor of spending the day with a beautiful family in Central Park. The timing of the shoot was perfect because it was just before the warm Summer air faded. We met around the northwest corner of Central Park. I had arrived a little early to the shoot, so I decided to take advantage of the quiet atmosphere and relax on a bench to pass the time. The sun would peek from behind the clouds from time to time and the warmth would wash over me as I listened to distant conversations of passersby. In a crazy city like this one, sometimes I forget how important it is to find quiet time in nature, even if the “nature” is surrounded by concrete.
After about 20 minutes of soaking in some rays, Brian called and said they had arrived. I met them at the entrance of the park and I couldn’t wait to start shooting these two beautiful boys. It turned out to be a phenomenal afternoon and it was a pleasure to spend it with these sweet people.
Happy Tuesday!
We walked around and found this bridge that the boys like to walk on. It’s close to the pond with the ducks, so we hung around here for a bit.
This is Alex. Adorable and polite with a smile that will melt any heart…
And this is Declan. He has an outgoing little character and a curiosity for bugs…
He thought bugs were in my camera, so he paid close attention to me to make sure they didn’t get away…
After watching the ducks for a bit…
It was time to play…and run…
And this is Mom and Dad. They know how to have fun with their boys…
More running for Declan…
Straight into the arms of Mom…
After all that playing, it was time to relax in the leaves…
Somebody got sleepy…
But Dad and Alex were still having fun…
Chill’n
Precious smile….
He loved his lollipops…
One more hurrah to finish off the shoot…
Then it was time to go home. Bye bye bugs…

totally awesome! last shot is my fav.
