It was in the early part of summer that Kara Brodgesell asked me to second shoot a wedding with her on Labor Day weekend. The wedding sounded wonderful and I couldn’t have been more honored that Kara thought of me to help her photograph this special day.
The bridal party got ready at Hotel Roger Williams in Manhattan. On my way to the hotel, the weather was crisp and full of sunshine. I could tell that it was going to be a beautiful day to get married.
As a second shooter, it was my duty to stay with the groom and the groomsmen while they got ready and to capture the masquline atmosphere.
Jeremy was looking quite daper as his ensemble came together. The cherry on the cake was when he slipped on a gold pocket watch that was passed down to him through the family.
Jess and Jeremy decided to do a First Look before the ceremony. Jeremy waited patiently at the bottom of the stairs in the Hotel Rogers Williams lobby while his bride made her way down to him.Loved her beautiful reaction to her handsome groom…
Because Jess and Jeremy decided to do a First Look, this allowed for plenty of time for pictures with their bridal party in Central Park before the ceremony.
Everytime I looked over at Jess, she was wearing a huge smile. It was so endearing!
It was so sweet to watch them have some quiet time together to celebrate this day….
Favorite shot…Jess and Jeremy’s ceremony was held at Emanu-El Temple right outside Central Park. It was absolutely stunning inside the temple…
They had their reception at The Prince George Ballroom. Shortly after their grand entrance, it was my time to depart. It was an absulutely beautiful wedding to be able to second shoot for and I wish Jess and Jeremy the very best.
